What is art?

Art is all around us.  Art is represented in many forms including music, dance, theatre, media, visual arts and design.  Art can be an expression of emotions, communication of ideas and feelings.  Art can also be responding, a time to reflect, learn and express ideas and emotions.  Art provides the opportunity for people to explore themselves and others outside of looking at the obvious and logical.

What is activism?

Activism is the practice of vigorous action to achieve a goal.  An activist is a person who takes action to promote a cause.
